Meet our Staff...
Juanita Arrindell (owner)
My intent is to provide our children a safe and healthy environment. I have over 12 years experience in Early Childcare and have worked in multiple facilities ranging from the Child Development Center in Germany/Alaska/Ft. Stewart to Kinder Care, YMCA in Florida.
Sheldon Arrindell (Director)
My wife, Juanita, and I have been together since July 1991. I... retired from the U.S. Army as a Human Resource Noncommissioned Officer in charge of the personnel staff office. In 2000, I promised my wife I would get her a daycare center before I retired and that’s what I did. I saw the gift she had with children and knew she would hace a positive effect on all the children she came across.
Our job is to provide our children and staff a comfortable environment to teach and learn. God has sent us here to be a blessing to the community by offering free and reduced childcare to those who need it. We believe in the increase that God has for our children and staff as the result of our faith and desire to serve Him. We have had so many employees but our current stadd is considered the A team and will give each and every one of them the shirt off our backs. Our staff care about our children . We encourage you to talk with them as much as you can to get all of their vast knowledge and experiences. Creating a healthy learning environment in school and out of school is vital to our children’s development. We always have an ear to listen and help where we can.
Valerie Rosas (assistant director)
Ms. Valerie is a vital part of the Little Miracles team. She has over 9 years experience in childcare in multiple Georgia facilities. Ms. Valerie is our office manager and handles all of the state required paperwork, enrollments, and other various secretarial jobs. She also prepares our meals and helps the staff in every way possible.
Dixie (lead infant room teacher)
I have been working in the baby room for over 8 years. I like working within the daycare but I love working with the infants. I do my best with them and am very attentive to their needs when they are in my care. My job is to learn from them and I strive to teach them.
Amber Jorgenson (lead 1/2 year old teacher)
In total, I have 11 years experience working in childcare/eary childhood education. I have been awarded the skills standad certificate in child development services. I am first aid/CPR trained as well as pediatric first aid/CPR. I am currents enrolled in the CDA class to obtain my child development associate credential. I teach my class with an open mind; Open ears, eyes, arms; and an open heart, giving my students the tools and knowledge they need to be successful as they advance in classes.
Keri Christopher (lead 3/4 year old teacher)
I am an Armstrong Atlantic State University graduate. I have an Associate of Arts and a Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education. I have experience in the local school system. I am a parent as well. I was raised in a military family but was lucky enough to spend a large majority of my childhood in this community. I understand that your child comes to me with unique experiences, interests, and learning styles. My goal is to truly know your child well and use this knowledge to guide, support, and motivate him/her. I believe that good teaching requires continual professional development, personal reflection, and collaboration. I value parent involvement at every level and encourage you to partner with me to give your child the most powerful and joyous learning experience possible.
Shannon Rodgers (arrival and substitute teacher)
What I bring to the quality of life for the children of LMLC: 1. Love– I bring the children love unconditionally, showing them to behave nicely and responsibly. For example, I encourage them to clean their room and do their homework. 2. Create a calm, loving, anger-free atmosphere. I consistently speak in a calm and loving tone of voice. I see, hear, and feel myself being a calm person who has mastered the ability to maintain an emotional and mental state that is centered, focused, and flowing. 3. Master patience– Life is a seminar in character development. The children are my partners in helping one become a more patient person. Even when changes arise, I speak in a tone of voice that is balanced.
Lisa Ealy (floater, subistitute, and before/after school bus driver)
What I bring to the quality of life for our children: 1. Individual preparation for any and every child on their level of ability to learn new things. 2. I bring dedication/ understanding of whom, what, where, how and why because children ask a lot of questions. 3. Repetition because our children learn by that alone. 4. Lastly, I bring LOVE because in this field Love is what keeps everything going. When we love our children, they love us back.
Lisa Carter ( Morning and before/after school teacher)
I am a proud wife and loving mother of four. I graduated from Bradwell Institue and attended college where I received my nursing license. I am currently awaiting to receive my Associates in Business. I am proud to tell you that I truly have a love for children. I plan to bring happiness and joy, teaching and blessing, and most of all guidance and direction into their precious little lives.
